1300A  Beetle (UK). Introduced to the UK market in October 1972, withdrawn July 1973 (Production run of just 10 months).

This Beetle was originally a 1300A, which was the standard 1200 Beetle fitted with the 1300cc engine as standard. Being based on the 1200 means that it lacked the luxury trimmings: lack of trim down the centre of the bonnet and no chrome trim in the window rubbers. Quarter -lights were black. The roof lining does not cover the rear window area, just the roof space.
